Hello, my name is Yolanda. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I recently graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Eastern University in August of 2024. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Campbellsville University in 2022. Before joining A Body & Mind Health Services, I worked as the Behavioral Health Program Coordinator for a Residency Program that trained family physicians, psychiatrists, and medical students to work with a diverse patient population while working closely with the behavioral health team. With over 15yrs of experience, I have gained knowledge and experience in the healthcare field working in different roles that include front line customer service, coordinating patient care, administrative duties such as policies and procedures, clinical coordination with nursing and behavioral health staff, referral processing that also included insurance coordination for billing purposes, and new system implementation. Here at ABM I hope to create a safe, compassionate, and caring space to help clients explore their strengths and experiences, as well as create a safe and supportive environment for others. I believe that everyone can be successful with a little help when they are given the right tools to grow. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and creating memories together.
