Hello! I am honored and excited to bring my passion to A Body & Mind in my role here. I
have a deep, personal understanding of the struggles that can come with mental health
challenges and believe strongly in the power of empathy, connection, respect, and
being supported without judgment.
I’m originally from California and made my way to Idaho to be closer to family in Boise. I
quickly fell in love with the Treasure Valley’s vibrant but laid-back energy. There is
always something new to discover and always a good story to go with it.
I’ve always had a bit of a playful streak. In eighth grade, I was voted my school’s “Class
Clown,” and in high school I somehow graduated to being voted “Biggest Rebel.” I then
channeled that energy into academic studies and earned a BA in Sociology with an
emphasis in Social Psychology from UCLA. Later I completed graduate work in Policy
Analysis. I am also eager to volunteer in another passion of mine; criminal justice reform
policy for people with mental illness.
I really enjoy being part of a community where people help each other, keep growing
and have a little fun along the way. That’s exactly what I hope to contribute to through
my work here.
