Kaity
Licensed Master Social Work
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience supporting individuals and families through trauma, grief, and complex life transitions. I earned my Master of Social Work from Boise State University and have completed certifications in perinatal loss and grief, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma‑informed Motivational Interviewing.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and major life changes. I’m especially passionate about perinatal mental health and helping individuals and families throughout the perinatal timeframe, including pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal loss, and the often complex transition into parenthood. I also have a strong interest in intergenerational trauma and enjoy helping clients explore how family experiences and inherited patterns may continue to shape their relationships, emotional wellbeing, and sense of self.
My approach is collaborative, trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and attachment‑focused. I draw from Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and compassion‑focused interventions to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to understand their experiences, break unhelpful cycles, and move toward meaningful change.
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy planning events, spending time with family and friends, hiking with my dogs, and golfing with my husband.
