Licensed Professional Counselor

Hello, I’m Amanda, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor at ABM’s Moscow office. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on building a strong therapeutic relationship and working collaboratively toward each client’s individual goals.

I grew up in Lewiston, Idaho, and I’m excited to be back in the area. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Idaho and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University. I have experience providing individual counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health concerns, including working with survivors of interpersonal and intimate partner violence. I draw from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Adlerian therapy, tailoring my approach to each client’s needs.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time outdoors, baking, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at home with my two cats.
