If you have Idaho Medicaid, you can get mental health support close to home through A Body & Mind Health Services. We accept most insurance plans in Idaho, and Medicaid is welcome. Our community-based services come first: Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS), case management, and peer support help people build skills and stay connected to everyday life, and outpatient counseling is available alongside them.
Community-based services first
Many people start with support in their own community, not only in an office. Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) focuses on practical, everyday skills, such as routines, communication, and participating in school, work, or community life. Support is practical and goal-focused, and it is shaped around what matters to the person receiving services.
Case management helps coordinate care and connect people with the supports they need. A case manager can help with planning, referrals, and keeping services organized, so a person and their family do not have to manage every step alone.
Peer support and family support add encouragement from people with lived experience and practical support for families. These services can help people feel less alone, build confidence, and stay engaged with their care.
CBRS eligibility is confirmed person by person. If you are unsure whether CBRS is an option for you or a family member, call A Body & Mind Health Services at 208-683-8320 and we will help you check.
Outpatient counseling and therapy
Outpatient counseling gives people a regular time to talk through challenges, learn coping skills, and work toward personal goals. Sessions may focus on stress, mood, relationships, life changes, or other concerns that affect daily life. Counseling can stand alone or work alongside CBRS, case management, and peer support, depending on the person’s plan.
Telehealth is available statewide in Idaho, so people who live far from an office, or who prefer to meet from home, can still connect with care. In-person appointments are available at our Idaho offices in Boise, Middleton, Twin Falls, Moscow, and Kamiah.
